The DKG Blade II was released early in the 2011/12 season and once again has proven to be successful with medals at every major championships. Refined from the Blade I, the Mark II had more streamlined hull yet maintained its characteristics in the surf and rough water that made this shape so successful.
The biggest change however came with the “internal” of the boat with modifications made to the sweep landing and rowlock housing making it much more user friendly and responsive for both rowers and sweeps.
Whether it be Ocean Thunder (pictured above), ASRL Open, State or Australian Championships, the DKG Blade has been at the forefront of performance and we will continue this tradition as we build towards the World Championships in Adelaide, November 2012.
